I don't think of myself as either an author or writer.  Simply a person - perhaps like you.  Suddenly faced with the frightening diagnosis, "Your mother has accelerated dementia."  I heard my mother's last request, "I wish to die in my own bed, in my own home" and made a heartfelt promise..."Mom, I'll do the best I can."  This story tells one daughter's attempt to make her mother's last three years as full of life and happiness as possible.
